The moment I set eyes on Jewel Kade for the first time, I was hooked. I had never seen anything so beautiful and unique in my life! OK, the last time I was in San Francisco was about 10 years ago, on a trip with my college roommates. We saw the sights, went to the broadway, and ate and laughed til we were sick. Good times. Gorgeous Jewel Kade Displays

A lot of people wonder if they have what it takes to be a Jewel Kade stylist and create an awe-inspiring display without an interior design degree. I'm here to tell you anybody can do it! I am the queen of copy-cat! Give me a picture, and I can duplicate it. Here are some pictures of a couple of my display ideas, and the first one is my sister's, Mary Haeberle, the only JK stylist in Rexburg, ID! She really knows how to put things together, and without breaking the bank. The displays here each cost under $100 (and that's including the table!). Here are a few tips for pulling it off:

Only display the amount from your kit, so the choices aren't so overwhelming for customers. Also, it shows potential stylists that successful parties are achievable with what comes in the kit and they don't have to own every item. That's what the catalog is for.
Have something simple to hook the necklaces on, and a separate dish for the charms, so customers can create their own unique combinations.
Have a simple mirror so they can see how fabulous they look!
Have a small dress form to display the hostess gifts on, as well as her "wish list."

I also like to put out my calendar and business cards. A separate decorative dish can be used for seasonal items, or other accessories. You can also change it up depending on the season with decorative table clothes or silk flowers. I buy everything on sale at Hobby Lobby or Ross, which makes it not only affordable, but enjoyable for repeat hostesses!!

This is a simple display we did for a bridal show here in Boise--even at trade shows, you don't have to go over the top! We only displayed the items that would be most appealing to brides, mainly initial charms and anything sparkly or with a crown, since they are a queen for the day! I truly believe that "less is more" when it comes to your displays, and I have had several $1000 parties to prove it!

When I think of Jewel Kade, usually hand-crafted charms and luxurious pearls come to mind first. If those don't make your skirt fly up, just keep turning the pages in the catalog, because trust me, something will! Actually, when I first laid eyes on JK, I was attracted to the "magnolia metals." These are individually hand-stamped mini charms that can be paired up with just about anything! Birthstones, pearls, drops, pewter charms such as pineapples, owls, hearts, keys, just to name a few....I wanted a "mommy" necklace to celebrate my children (and to remind myself that yes, they are a blessing!). Where have I been since the July 1 launch, you might ask?! Well, there's really too much to tell, but let me begin by saying I just spent one of the most enjoyable weekends of my life in Utah where Jewel Kade began....and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! I went from feeling like a Jewel Kade nobody to a valued member of the Jewel Kade family. It was, in a word, AWESOME!! Here I am with Janet Kinkade. She is just as beautiful as the charms she creates--inside and out. Janet's office was bursting with creative energy. So inviting, warm, and artistic!!And as a side note, I was as excited to meet Heather Beers in person as I was Janet Kinkade. Does she look familiar to anyone out there? As in a movie star....I am a HUGE fan!!!

But listen, as much fun as it is selling Jewel Kade, one of the biggest perks is meeting wonderful, beautiful, crazy, intelligent, and down-right FUN ladies from all over the country! It is just my cup o' tea. And was sticking around for the big reveal of the new catalog worth it? Heck ya! You'll just have to wait til March to see it....ding dong dang it!
I gotta say, JK knows how to treat their stylists. Here we are on our way to the best dinner I've ever had.

So, since my husband never offered to throw me a shin-dig this year for my 34th birthday, I beat him to it and organized my own party. And I'm inviting everyone I know!!! Why? I admit it, I've turned into a Jewel Kade freak! And I've never been happier!! I go to sleep dreaming about it and wake up thinking about it. And the charms. Oh the charms. I die for them. And it's not just me! Everywhere I go people are asking me where I got them. Then I'm forced, yes forced to tell them, why I sell it and it can all be yours! This business is easier than I ever thought it could be, and most of all FUN!!! Since when was it so much fun to make money and feel stylish and chic at the same time?!
But ladies and gents, I'm here to tell you that there's more at your fingertips than beautiful jewelry. I am so excited to announce my latest adventure! I know the words "direct sales" are a total turn off to mainstream America, but I'm telling you, this is worth reading about!!! I have become an "independent stylist" with Jewel Kade, a truly innovative and unique company that designs stunning one-of-a-kind necklaces and charms that can be personalized with your own initials and names. What can I say, I fell in love with their products the minute I laid eyes on them--and that's coming from a true minimalist!

So what persuaded me of all people to jump on board? Well, not only is the jewelry strikingly beautiful and thoughtfully designed, but I also saw a unique opportunity for me and my family in teaming with a company that is so new. So, I took the plunge and signed up under a dear friend, Jenny Cottle, who also lives here in Meridian. Right now we are the only two in the area currently representing Jewel Kade, with only about 400 nationwide. Since this is a ground-floor opportunity, I would love to "share the love" and grow our team in Boise with anyone else who may be looking for an easy way to make some supplemental income while having fun with friends at the same time!The photos seriously don't do the pieces justice, and I would like to invite anyone reading this to come to my house this Thursday (March 11) to my official "Launch" from either 1-3 or 7-9 pm. You will get the chance to have a hands-on experience with the jewelry--I promise you won't be disappointed! Playing "dress up" has never been so much fun!!
